The time has come where we have only a few ideas left for fan fics. We’re not closing down the blog, but I’m sure you’ve noticed the shortage of fics that are coming out each week from the blog. We’re both busy starting a new school and adjusting to college, so we won’t have as much time to be writing.

Wedding Part 3

Brandon was a little surprised at how your father reacted. He expected him to yell, maybe even break down and cry. Instead, Brandon turned around to face your father and hug him.

“Take good care of her,” said your father.

You both unlocked out of the embrace and Brandon said, “I will, Patrick.”

……

You and your mother talk about your other plans for the wedding, and you find that your best friend and sister are waiting outside on a couch to see you in your dress.

Sarah walks in with a few dresses, and you whisper, “These are so beautiful.”

Your mother leaves the room so Sarah can help you in your dress. The first dress you decide to put on is a ball gown, made of tulle. The upper part is a sweetheart shape and is sort of wrapped . It’s a pretty dress, but it isn’t something you completely love.

You put on the dress and find that this dress does not suit you at all. It definitely looked prettier on the rack.

“Do you want to show this to your family?” Sarah asks.

“Sure,” you reply nonchalantly, “I guess so.”

The two of you walk out of the dressing room to the larger room. You’re holding your dress as you walk when you find that you finally reach the pedestal. You stand on it, stare at yourself in the mirror, and let out a sigh.

“I don’t really know how I feel about this. I like the skirt and the top but I don’t really know that they really work together,” you say.

After you’re finished talking, the three women start to get into a disagreement about the dress. Your mom likes it, but the other two call it plain, saying you should pick something more extravagant. While they bicker, you put your head down, almost on the verge of tears. Sarah starts to calm you down, but then you hear a gasp. Everyone turns around to look, and you see Brandon staring at you. You are shocked too, because he’s not supposed to see you in your wedding dress.

“What are you doing? You shouldn’t be here!” you scream. It was unintentional, but the tone of your voice made it seem you were very upset.

“I was looking around to give your mother something.” He pauses and walks up to you, stares you in the eye, and says, “You look so beautiful.” He kisses you on the forehead.

You, of course, are overcome with emotion, so you start crying again. You burst into tears and hug him, so happy that you will spend the rest of your life with him.

Well, we just posted two new awesome fics, Almost High School Sweethearts and Bookstore. A Romo fic should be coming up soon. Other than that we have a few ideas floating around, but we would love input from our followers! Every monday afternoon you go to City Lights to get your books to read for the week. You love to read, and you’ve made this a habit ever since you moved to San Francisco. Now that it’s the summer, you’ve decided that you’ll get 4 books every week. You are a fast reader, so it isn’t too much of a challenge to finish reading all of these books. Besides, when you are done reading them you just return the books in as neat of a condition as you bought them.

Today was no ordinary day though. Today you were going to buy that book you’ve had your eye on for a week now. Last week when you came in there were only two copies of that book, and you hope that at least one copy is still there.

You walk in to the store, greet the workers that you always see, and rush to the shelf where the book is. You smile because there is only one copy left. You quickly walk, more like run, to the shelf and stick your hand out when your hand touches someone else’s. Both of your hands recoil and you look at each other.

“Oh,” says the man, “Did you want to buy that book?”

“Yeah,” you whine a little, “I’ve been wanting to buy that book for a week now, and I was afraid that there wouldn’t be any copies left when I looked here last week.”

“Okay, well you can buy it then. I’m just looking for some reading to do for my days off of work.” He’s wearing a team sports jacket, jeans, a nice shirt, and an Ed Hardy cap. Since you assume he’s not wearing something indicative of his job, you find it hard to picture what his job is.

“I don’t mean to pry, especially since I just met you, but what exactly do you do?” you question.

“Oh,” he chuckles,”I play for the San Francisco Giants.”

Dumbfounded, and feeling a little stupid, you apologize, “I am so sorry…”

“Jeremy”

“Jeremy, I am so sorry. I didn’t mean to come off judgmental or anything.”

“No don’t worry about it. I guess I don’t dress like a professional baseball player.” You both laugh to relieve the tension.

“Well since we both want to read it, why don’t we read it together?”

He says, “I’d like that.”

You make your way to the cash register to pay for the book. As you’re walking, Jeremy, being the gentleman that he his, persuades you to give him the book so he can pay.

After, the two of you make your way to Dolores Park to begin reading the book.
